Our Story
Thaba Nchu Campus offers programs in Civil and Electrical Engineering Studies and Clothing Production. As part of realizing the College vision, the establishment of the Maritime Academy is currently underway. The structure will take the form of a Jumbo ship and will be situated on the same campus. The Academy will feature classrooms, a parking area, state-of-the-art facilities, and resources, including a diving pool for training purposes.
Recently, the College hosted a Sod Turning Ceremony for the construction of the diving pool. The College introduced Maritime Studies Related Programs in the 2020 academic year. The Southern Seas Institute (SSI) has been contracted to Project Manage the Maritime Academy for the College. SSI has also generously donated a boat to support students in their Boat Building practicals and skippers license training.
